More than 650 employees at a leading mother and childcare products company are to receive help in reducing stress levels and improving their lifestyle from a Bradford specialist business.
Let’s Get Healthy, based at Cleckheaton, has won a contract to provide health and wellbeing support for staff at Philips AVENT throughout 2012.
The healthy living programme has been designed specifically for Philips AVENT and will be launched in April. Employees from Philips AVENT will take part in group activities, seminars, health information and promotions.
Company managers will receive structured support and training to launch health and wellbeing campaigns and improve management systems for employees who may be suffering from anxiety and stress.
Maria Bourke, managing director of Let’s Get Healthy, said: “We’re delighted to have partnered with a company that puts employees’ health at the top of its agenda. Our primary aim is to ensure companies do not waste a penny of their money when they undertake health and wellbeing programmes and we’ve worked closely with Philips UK to ensure they achieve a real return on investment for this activity.
“It has been shown that improving personal health and wellbeing can help build confidence and motivation and give people the opportunity to help themselves make healthy changes.”
