Bradford-based Yorkshire Water, Loop Customer Management and Kelda Water Services win awards

A Bradford-based utilities group has scooped three national industry awards.
Yorkshire Water and its sister companies Loop Customer Management and Kelda Water Services, succeeded at the utility industry achievement awards.
Yorkshire Water’s IT team won the IT initiative award with a specialist project that involved implementing a system focusing on effectively managing the company’s 120 reservoirs to ensure that they remained compliant with legislation.
Loop Customer Management, which operates the company’s contact centre at Thornbury, won the customer care award.
Kelda Water Services, which manages the Kelda Group’s non-regulated water and waste water contract operations across the UK, clinched the trophy for supply chain excellence.
Richard Flint, chief executive of Yorkshire Water said: “It’s a fantastic achievement to not only be short-listed, but to win these awards. These awards provide us with an opportunity to showcase all the hard work that goes on throughout the Kelda companies on a national stage.”
Loop, has also been crowned best customer service employer’ at the National Customer Service Awards.
Allan Hillman, Loop’s HR manager, said “We know that the key to great customer service is having employees who enjoy their jobs and feel like they can balance working life and family life. We are delighted to have received this award and will continue to ensure that we have the right schemes in place so that people enjoy coming to work.”
