More places have been created for a women’s business conference in West Yorkshire after all the original 500 tickets were sold. The Women’s Business Forum conference will address the under representation of women in the UK’s boardrooms and has attracted support from major companies from around the country. The event will be held at Harewood House on Thursday, September 23.
Heather Jackson, founder of the Women’s Business Forum, said: “This event is not about gender or diversity, it’s about business performance.”
Speakers include Alliance Boots boss Andy Hornby and Kate Bostock, chief executive and director of clothing for Marks & Spencer.
