Owner Crerar Hotels has spent £500,000 refurbishing the hotel. A further £700,000 will be ploughed into the hotel in the next few months.

Paddy Crerar, Crerar Hotels chief executive, said: “Business at the Chevin Country Park Hotel & Spa is booming and our investment will provide customers with a superior experience.

“The new spa treatment room has been exceptionally popular and we plan to capitalise on this by continuing to expand on our leisure offering.”
