New face at Ilkley firm

David Jones has been appointed head of business development at Ilkley-based Quarmby Construction, a company run by his namesake David Jones.

Mr Jones has joined Quarmby after working with both regional and national contractors in Yorkshire.

Company boss David Jones said: “We are delighted to welcome David as part of the team and, despite the inevitable complications with our clash of names, we see his appointment as a positive step in the growth of our company.

“David will work with our senior management team to further improve our company profile and identify new areas of business.”

Quarmby Construction is part of St James Securities Group and has a turnover of £40 million. It operates from the Scottish Border to the Home Counties on public and private sector projects in retail, commercial, industrial, leisure, health and education.
