Independent West Yorkshire group Link Telecom is donating four Smartphones as prizes in a golf tourna-ment to help fund an Australian adventure for a Bradford martial arts expert.
Ben Greenwood, 24, of Undercliffe, Bradford, has been chosen to represent Great Britain in the 13th World Tang Soo Do Championships in Adelaide in October.
Ben is a 1st Dan black belt, who first took up the sport in 2001.
To help raise money for Ben’s trip, a golfing event will be staged on Friday, July 17, at Headley Golf Club, Thornton, Bradford, for members and guests. There are several trophies and prizes to be played for on the day, along with a putting competition and raffle.
Gary Fawcett, chief executive of Saltaire-based Link Telecom, said: “We are happy to support Ben, a local lad, in his quest for success at the world championships.”
