International and corporate tax specialist Nick Marsden has been promoted to partner at he Leeds office of business advisors Deloitte, which is expanding its tax team to meet growing demand.
He advises UK companies and groups that are owned by foreign parented companies, particularly US and European firms, and is one of 23 new partner appointments in the UK.
Sue Holmes, a corporate tax specialist in Leeds, becomes an associate partner. She leads the financial services tax practice in the North, advising on a wide variety of tax issues for banks, building societies, insurers and investment and wealth management in businesses.
Geoff Taylor, senior partner, said the tax practice was bucking the trend and growing.
