Sales of a limited edition pink vest and underwear set have helped Bingley-based clothing firm Damart beat its fund-raising records for the Breast Cancer Campaign.
More than £12,500 was raised through sales of the sets which were modelled by Coronation Street star Samia Smith, who plays Maria Sutherland.
Damart has supported Breast Cancer Campaign for six years and this year managed to smash all funds previously raised.
Marketing director John Bottomley said: “We are grateful to Samia for lending her support by modelling the limited edition set which may well have contributed to the record number of sales.”
Damart’s 2009 limited edition pink vest set, as modelled by Strictly Come Dancing star Kristina Rihanoff, will be available to buy in September from damart.co.uk or by calling 0871 882 1111.
