TWO district firms have had their work highlighted in a Parliamentary publication.

PWH Financial Planning, based in Bradford Road, Guiseley, and insurance brokers Punter Southall Health & Protection, which has an office in Otley Road, Baildon, have both been included in the 2016/17 Parliamentary Review.

The two firms feature alongside the Prime Minister and a small number of organisations in a document that looks back on the year in industry and Westminster.

Set up by former minister, former Skipton and Ripon MP David Curry, in 2010, The Parliamentary Review’s September release is now a key fixture in the political calendar.

The main aim of the review is to showcase best practice as a learning tool to the public and private sector.

The Parliamentary Review is sent to more than half a million leading policymakers. The articles in the Review act as both a blueprint for success and a template for reform.

Founded in 2009, PWH Financial Planning is a company of independent financial advisers.

Jonathan Wade, PWH director, said: “We are delighted to be included in the Parliamentary Review and we hope we have made a useful contribution.

“It was an honour to attend the gala launch at the Houses of Parliament which was hosted by Sir Eric Pickles, with key-note speakers being Frank Lampard and Andrew Neil.”

Meanwhile, Punter Southall, which also has offices in London, Chester and Redhill, Surrey. It is one of the group’s three companies alongside technology firm Psyon and nursing support group RedArc.

This year’s edition features sections on the Grenfell Tower fire, President Donald Trump’s election and the Brexit vote.
