PUBLIC relations firm Approach has been awarded a contract for small-batch craft distillery, Durham Distillery.
The multi-award winning team secured the initial six-month contract after a pitch between national and local agencies.
Suzanne Watson, managing director at the Ilkley-based consultancy said: “Craft gin is very much the spirit movement of the moment, but we are keen to educate consumers as to traditional distilling, with the best ingredients, and teaching them about a brand which handmakes every single bottle of gin and vodka that they sell.”
Jon Chadwick, founder and owner of Durham Distillery, said: “Approach, with their genuine passion and enthusiasm for the brand and industry, alongside their impressive PR portfolio, delivered creative and exciting ideas which we felt reflected our brand – both now, and what we want it to become.”
Durham Distillery produces gin, vodka and a liqueur.
