A LEADING recruitment specialist has moved its Bradford office to a prominent unit in the city’s independent quarter to keep up with rising demand from local businesses.
The launch party for the new North Parade office of Stafforce was on Friday and attended by representatives from Hovis, Delifresh, Bradford City and Bradford Council.
The company, based in Rotherham, took the unit that was vacated by recruitment company Candelisa People late in 2015.
Julie Bates, head of the Bradford office, said the company has increased its staff in the city from three employees to six and is looking to take on more staff.
She said: “It has been a fantastic start to the year. During 2017 we exceeded our targets and worked with 36 clients across the city.
“There are significant opportunities as Bradford takes its place as a Northern Powerhouse city and we are proud to support local talent and businesses as they seek to grow.”
Stafforce’s previous Bradford base was in a smaller office in a building on Salem Street. The new office fills one of the largest empty units on North Parade, which in recent years has become a hub for local independent businesses.
