A BUSINESS park in Bradford is now at two-thirds capacity following the letting of two more business units.

The companies have moved into premises at the Newhall Business Park in Newhall, Bradford.

The businesses are Kokoon, a multi-discipline graphics, sign-making and digital printing firm, and Candy Hero, which sells confectionery and groceries imported from around the world.

Kokoon has signed a ten-year lease for unit four at the business park, offering 7,500 sq ft of industrial and trade counter space, and Candy Hero have also signed a ten-year lease on an 11,500 sq ft unit.

The units have been let by commercial property developer Frank Marshall Estates, which was founded in the district more than 90 years ago in Brighouse in 1926.

The two new businesses join other tenants including Wilkies Flooring and Eric Wright Group, and there are now just four units remaining to be let at the park.

Each of the leases have been advised on by Simon Mydlowski from law firm Gordons, Jonathan O’Connor from chartered surveyors Walker Singleton, and John Padgett of chartered surveyors Eddisons.

Edward Marshall, who owns Frank Marshall Estates along with Jimmy Marshall, said: “We are very happy that interest in commercial units at Newhall Business Park remains strong.

“The latest leases mean we only have four units remaining and we are in advanced discussions with potential new occupiers.

“The state-of-the-art units available at the site can be easily adapted to the unique needs of individual business and provide the very best facilities for growing companies.

“The advice and guidance we have received from Walker Singleton, Eddisons and Gordons on these lease deals has been invaluable and we are looking forward to completing further deals which will see the business park fully occupied in the near future.”

The Newhall Business Park is located south of Bradford city centre, close to the M606.

Its first occupier at the park was Morley-based Wilkies Floors, who moved into the newly-built five-acre complex in November 2016. They said the “location and quality of the units made our decision easy”.
