Sun Branding Solutions offers £10,000 worth of help to firm in competition

Sun Branding Solutions, in Albion Street, is offering one person free strategic design, artwork, pack science including materials used for packaging, legal and digital support. The firm said such advice usually cost around £10,000, but it wants to give something back to a Yorkshire business.

The competition is open to any new Yorkshire-based food and drink product in need of full brand development, or an existing brand in need of a strategic revamp.

It aims to help pass on its expertise to make sure the chosen product stands out in its market. It will also offer its contacts with global firms including Coca-Cola and Unilever and Bradford supermarket giant Morrisons.

Sun Branding Solutions also has offices based in the UK, Ireland, US and India.

It was launched at a event held at the Buy Yorkshire conference held in Leeds on May 16.

Paul Bean, Sun Branding Solutions managing director, said: “We’ve been based in Yorkshire for 124 years and we’re passionate about our county.

“We would like to support some of the region’s individual producers who may not have the budget but we know they have the Yorkshire passion.

“The winner will have access to our five expert teams across strategic design, pack science, graphics, legal and digital, who’ll help them create a brand and packaging that resonates with their target market, stands out on shelf and attracts retailers.

“It’s an exciting opportunity for any producer.”

Sun Branding will also track the winning project for a marketing video and give regular updates on its progress in the firm’s marketing.
