Woman taken to hospital after rural road crash
A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after a crash on a rural road near Cullingworth.
Emergency services were called to the scene close to Hewenden Beck just before 5pm after a collision between a Volkswagon and a Vauxhall Estate travelling in opposite directions.
Firecrews from Bingley and Keighley had to free the woman, who was passenger in the Vauxhall, so paramedics could assess her.
She suffered a shoulder injury and was complaining of chest pains.
Police closed the road until the vehicles could be removed.
