MORRISONS has won the International Wine Challenge (IWC) Supermarket of the Year award for a second successive year.
The prestigious prize recognises the retailer with the best all round customer experience, including range, quality, innovation and shopping experience over the past 12 months.
The IWC praised the Bradford-based supermarket chain for continuing to improve its wine offering and its commitment to listening to customers and using that insight to make improvements.
Representatives from Morrisons collected the award at a ceremony in London last night.
Mark Jarman, Morrisons' senior wine sourcing manager, said: "We are thrilled to win the award two years in a row.
"Over the past year we have listened hard to customers and responded by simplifying the beers, wines and spirits (BWS) aisle to make it easier to navigate, developing new products and keeping quality and value for money at the top of the agenda."
