TWELVE full and part-time jobs have been created by fast food entrepreneur Aravind Venkana at his new Indian/Mexican food franchise in Bradford's Broadway centre.
He has set up the Wrapchic business with a loan from new banking partner Royal Bank of Scotland.
Aravind, with ten years’ experience in the fast food sector, said he was attracted to the franchise because of its quality of food and investment returns.
Initially, Aravind will be hands on to train his staff and get the operation established.
He said: “I was looking for an interesting blend of Indian and Mexican flavours in the food to go sector and Wrapchic certainly delivers on this. I have spent several months modifying the premises at Westfield to provide a modern and welcoming environment for our customers to enjoy and I am pleased with the overall look and feel.
“Thanks to the Royal Bank of Scotland I have been able to set up the first Wrapchic franchise in West Yorkshire and I look forward to building this brand further across the area.”
Simon Winterburn, Royal Bank of Scotland relationship manager, added: “Aravind is no stranger to this competitive industry. With his background and appetite to succeed, we have no doubt he will flourish in bringing high quality fast food to the Bradford community.”
