THE boss of a leading West Yorkshire kitchen manufacturer has promised ‘business as usual’ after its acquisition by a Swedish company in a £34 million deal.

Rixonway Kitchens, which makes rigid kitchens for the social housing, independent builders merchants and private development markets, has been sold by private equity firm August Equity and its management team to listed Nobia AB .

Paul Rose, Rixonway chief executive, said: “It’s business as usual. The acquisition of Rixonway by the Nobia group is a great strategic fit for both firms. Being part of a larger group will open many opportunities.”
