MATTHEW Vaughan, 23, has become the third generation of his family to work for Bradford-based pneumatics specialist Thorite.
He has joined the firm as internal sales administrator at its Huddersfield sales site. Matthew’s father is Thorite’s Bradford -based marketing manager having also joined the business in Huddersfield in 1988 in the same role as Matthew. His grandmother Brenda worked for Thorite from 1956 to 1981, latterly as secretary to then managing director Teddy Wright, great grandson of the company’s founder.
After graduating from university Matthew , who lives in Wilsden, worked in customer service roles for Kone Lifts and PC World.
In his spare time he drives his father’s Thorite-sponsored hillclimb car and is the official correspondent covering the MSA British Sprint Championship for Motorsport News magazine.
