STAFF from Shipley-based key insurance firm of Keycare are set to sleep rough in support of a charity which helps homeless people.
They will take part in the annual ‘sleep out’ in aid of Simon On The Streets, which operates across Bradford, Leeds and Huddersfield to support people who sleep rough.
Rachel Taylor, daughter of Keycare’s late founder Geoffrey Parker, is among Keycare’s team of five who will be among hundreds of businesses and individuals at The Royal Armouries in Leeds on September 25. Joining Rachel are Lynne Bates, Kirsten Carruthers, Bhavna Patel and Julia Reedshaw, Rachel said: “We have all seen people living rough on the streets, but I think too often we don’t actually see them. We walk past, oblivious to what it really means to be homeless.”
Helen Beachell of Simon on The Streets said: “We are delighted to have the support of Keycare, there is a real value to us being in partnership with Bradford companies.”
