SALTAIRE Brewery has clinched a deal to supply its Saltaire Pride ale into 75 Morrisons stores throughout West Yorkshire this month.

The new listing is part of Morrisons’ focus on offering local and regional products.

In addition, the Shipley brewery’s most popular ale, Saltaire Blonde, is to significantly increase its distribution to 244 Morrisons stores – making it available in all the Bradford-based supermarket’s stores north of Birmingham.

Distribution of Saltaire Cascade Pale Ale is to also increase to 75 Morrisons stores across Yorkshire.

Ewen Gordon, Saltaire Brewery sales director, said; “Morrisons and Saltaire share our heartland of Yorkshire so it is great to have them support a localYorkshire business. such as ours by extending our current listings.

“We produce great tasting, quality ales that are increasingly popular beyond the region, and the extended distribution of Saltaire Blonde is clearly recognition of this. "It is great that our most popular ale by far will become available to Morrisons customers outside of our traditional heartland.”

Morrisons beer buyer, Codie Pearce added: “The substantial increase in distribution for Saltaire Brewery beers is a direct result of their excellent sales and huge popularity with Morrisons’ shoppers in Yorkshire. We have made significant changes to our range of local and regional beers, which we are sure will please the growing number of craft ale consumers.”
