Hopkins Catering Equipment, a Pudsey-based manufacturing firm, has invested in its vehicle fleet while looking to increase its exporting capability, with support from Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance. The company, which manufactures and supplies catering equipment, sells its products abroad with clients in Europe and the USA and recently it has seen increased demand for its products in Australia. To reduce its own overheads, the firm replaced two ageing vans in its 20-strong fleet with environmentally-friendly models, and said it was already seeing the cost benefits of reduced fuel and maintenance at the Yorkshire site.
