Gary Ballance column: I am looking forward to returning to Edgbaston this week as I scored my first hundred for Yorkshire there in 2011.
Gary Ballance column: Obviously it was disappointing to lose our first Championship game of the season against Sussex over the weekend. Getting bowled out for 96 on the first day was not ideal and from then on we were always chasing the game.
This winter has definitely been the most productive of my career so far.
We may have lost our three warm-up matches against Victoria, but I am very confident that the Lions boys are ready for the one-day series against Australia A, which started in Hobart this morning.
Although it was a big disappointment to lose the first game in Australia, it was great for me to be able to start the England Lions tour with 86 against Victoria at the Junction Oval in Melbourne.
It has been a very busy winter with both Yorkshire and the England Performance Programme, but it is something I have really enjoyed.
