Dearly beloved son of the late George and Edith Winters, very dear brother of Muriel and brother-in-law of Monty, loving uncle of Deborah and Stephen, dear friend of John and the late Eric. AKEROYD Norman 2.12.1930 - 26.6.2012. The devoted and cherished husband of the late Doreen for 56 years and very much loved, amazing dad and best friend of Janette, a loved son of the late Harry and Edith and brother of Vera, George and the late Fred, a dear and steadfast friend to Malcolm and Frances and a cool great-great-uncle to four special young people who gave him such joy. There will be no funeral at Norman's request but if he touched your life, perhaps at work or on the bowling green, raise a glass and celebrate his life. Much loved wife of the late Arthur, dearly loved mum of Pat and Mandy and a cherished nana of Wayne.
