It’s time for a U-turn
SIR – Although it is never reassuring to know that a government has made wrong decisions, it is refreshing to see the current politicians actually listening to the people affected by their actions and correcting their decisions. read more

Walk for the soldiers
SIR – The Rotary Club of Bradford has already raised a lot of money this year for local and international charities. We are now trying to help our injured servicemen and specifically ABF – The Soldiers Charity. We have organised a walk along the River Wharfe (pictured) on Sunday, June 24. We will bus walkers from Bolton Abbey to Buckden, and they walk back – with three drop-out points and return transport (Kettlewell, Grassington and Burnsall). read more

SIR – I am writing to you with regards to Emily Court Residential Home (T&A, May 28). I know how upsetting it must have been for the family of the lady who left the home unnoticed, but I feel I have to also write to you regarding a recent experience with Emily Court. read more
