CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL (BRADFORD CITY CENTRE) (WAITING LOADING AND PARKING) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO. 9) ORDER 2012 BRADFORD CITY CENTRE - PARKING REVIEW - ZONE 2 NOTICE is hereby given that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council made the above Order on 29th May 2012 under its powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to introduce restrictions of:- 1. "Pay and Display parking places - Monday to Saturday between 10.00am and 4.30pm" on lengths of Manor Row, Salem Street, North Parade, Northgate, Rawson Road, Stone Street, Upper Piccadilly and Simes Street. The charges are 70p to stay up to 1hr; £1.40 to stay up to 2 hrs. 2 hrs maximum stay; 2. "Parking places for Permit Holders only - Monday to Saturday between 8.00am and 6.00pm" on a length of Rawson Road; 3. "No Waiting - Monday to Saturday between 8.00am and 6.00pm" on lengths of Rawson Road, Simes Street and Stone Street; and 4. "A Loading Bay - 1 hour allowed (return prohibited within 1 hour) - Monday to Saturday between 8.00am and 6.00pm" on a length of Northgate. The Order comes into force on 11th June 2012 and a copy of the Order together with a map showing the affected roads may be examined during normal office hours at the Customer Services Reception, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford. If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any Instrument made under it, have not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the date upon which the Order was made (i.e. 29th May 2012) apply to the High Court for this purpose. CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 23 INSTALLATION OF A STAGGERED PELICAN CROSSING FACILITY ON HARROGATE ROAD (A658), BRADFORD NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Section 23(2)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council having consulted with the Chief Officer of Police and informed the Secretary of State in writing pursuant to the provisions of Section 23(2)(a) and (c) of the said Act proposes to install a staggered pelican crossing facility situated on Harrogate Road, Bradford close to its roundabout junction with Pullan Avenue and Fagley Lane, Bradford adjacent to St Luke's Church. A copy of drawing number:- N/BE/101828/CON-2A showing the staggered pelican crossing may be examined at the Customer Services Office, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford. The documents can be made available in the form of braille, large print or recorded tape. Please contact the Development & Regulatory Law Team at the address given below should you require access to the documents in one of these forms. The Order comes into force on 11th June 2012 and a copy of the Order together with a map showing the affected road may be examined during normal office hours at the Customer Services Reception, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford and the Traffic and Highways (North) Office, Town Hall, Shipley. If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any Instrument made under it, have not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the date upon which the Order was made (i.e. 31st May 2012) apply to the High Court for this purpose.
