THE destiny of the Division One title could well be decided on Saturday when leaders Burley clash with second placed Beckwithshaw.
Burley, who are bidding for a league championship and Waddilove Cup double, are seven points clear with two matches to play.
A victory or a winning draw would see them crowned champions on Saturday. But Beckwithshaw will be in no mood to give up the title they won last season, without a fight.
Last Saturday, Burley beat Thackley by three wickets after Australian Jason Wright (4-36) helped bowl out Thackley for 136.
Nick Brook (49no) steered his side home after Mahir Ali had taken four wickets to put Burley under pressure.
Beckwithshaw made short work of third-placed Green Lane in what looked on paper to be a real test for the defending champions.
James Lilley took 5-93 as Green Lane were dismissed for 162. Yasser Ali with 39 was the only Green Lane batsman to make an impression.
The experienced John Inglis made an unbeaten 80 as Beckwithshaw secured an eight-wicket win. He was well supported by Pip Warters (43).
Rawdon boosted their survival hopes as they defeated North Leeds, whose relegation has been confirmed.
Jamie Pickering crashed 16 fours and three sixes in an unbeaten 110 which took Rawdon to 225-6 then off spinner Andrew Doidge (5-18) and Stuart Dobson (3-52) bowled out North Leeds for 149.
Guiseley produced a good performance to defeat Otley by five wickets.
Otley have been in good form recently but their batting faltered against the bowling of Chris Wain (5-44). It was his third five-wicket haul and meant Otley were restricted to 155-9.
When Guiseley batted they were sped to their total by Calum Fraser (63) and skipper Dave Pennett (50).
Tong Park Esholt are still not safe from relegation in Division Two. They need four points to guarantee their survival after they lost to new leaders Follifoot by six wickets despite the efforts of Nadeem Hanif (45) and Fawad Maqsood (33).
Olicanian are still in with a chance of promotiion after they defeated Harden by seven wickets.
Eddie Brown (4-48), Bernard Hughes (3-66) and Charlie Wheeler (2-17) kept Harden down to 141-9 despite a spirited 29 not out from No10 Rob Verity.
Chris Wheeler (49) then set the foundations of victory and Sean Collings (38no) and Brown (53no) saw Olicanian to their fourth win out of five starts.
It’s still too close to call in the Division Three promotion race after all three at the top won.
Nick Smith (4-35) and Adam Flegg (3-16) skittled out Woodhouse for 73 and Charlie Swallow (54no) clinched victory for Ben Rhydding who are five points clear at the top.
Andrew Wheeler (5-37) restricted Hall Park to 132-9 and an opening stand of 101 between Rory Kroon (61no) and Terry Pattinson (45) made sure Ilkley picked up full points.
But they are only ahead of Menston on games won after Nick Thornton (43) and Andrew Morgan (40no) helped them to 239-5 and Ben Purvis (6-33) and Chris Baldwin (3-28) skittled out Alwoodley for 69. Andrew Robinson had a day to remember as Horsforth beat Skipton by 102 runs, hitting a century and taking 7-56.
Despite 49 from Darrell Robinson, Addingham were still 15 runs short of victory at the close against New Rover and had to settle for two points.
