Police are appealing for witnesses to an altercation between two men in Cross Hills around lunchtime on Tuesday last week. Officers say the incident involved a 17-year-old Asian male from Keighley and a 40-year-old white male from the South Craven area.
It is understood a verbal altercation occurred between the two, at the junction of Station Road and Main Street, at 12.30pm, which was followed a couple of minutes later by a physical confrontation on Park Road, near the rear entrance to the Co-op car park.
PC Andy Woodhead said: “The incident happened at a time when there are usually a lot of people shopping for their lunches in Cross Hills.”
Witnesses should contact PC Woodhead on 0834 6060 247.
