Easter Success Keeps Hamlet's Hopes Alive

April 17, 2001 15:31: Dulwich Hamlet are making sure they dont go down without a fight from the Ryman Premier Division.

Hamlet appear to be doomed to relegation but four points over the Easter weekend proved Gywnne Berrys men will battle to the end.

Unfortunately their revival appears to have come too late they are still 12 points adrift of safety with seven games left.

But at least the Champion Hill faithful were given something to cheer during the 1-0 victory over St Albans City on Saturday.

Goalkeeper Craig Tucker played a vital part and Berry also gave a commanding performance at the back.

The goal was scored by Tony Chin after 55 minutes when scored from close range.

On Monday Ryan Gray was on target for Dulwich in their 1-1 draw at Croydon.

This Saturday Hamlet are at home to Hitchin Town.
