Louis revelled in league debut

STRIKER Jefferson Louis said it was an amazing feeling to play professional football after he came off the bench for Oxford United against Darlington.

Louis, Thame United's top goalscorer this season, heard his name chanted by the Oxford crowd and said it was a brilliant experience.

He said: "The crowd was cheering me and I didn't know how to deal with it. It was so buzzing, I just wanted to get out there.

"I got a good reception. It's hard to get into games as a sub but I thought I did well."

Louis will spend pre-season with Oxford and hope to break into the first team next season.
