POWELL Iris Winnifred It is with deep sadness that we announce Iris passed away suddenly but peacefully in the ICU at BRI on April 8, aged 81 years surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Ernest, loving mother to Morris, Denise and Michael, grandmother to Damian, Mikiala, Simon, Dominic, Jaden, Taneika and Caleb, great-gradmother to Alysha, Ellis, Luca, Ava, Saskia, Kayson, Sahara, Aveah, Ameila and Navie-Iris, sister to Patrick and Milton and a good friend to so many. The funeral service will take place on April 26, at Westgate Baptist Church, Carlisle Road, Bradford, at 11.30am, followed by interment at Bowling Cemetery. Reception will be held at the Railway Club, Wakefield Road afterwards. Family flowers only please but donations are welcome in aid of the ICU Unit, BRI for which a box will be available at the church. Enquiries to D Walsh & Son tel 01274 721530.
