LACHMAN Ratna It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of human rights activist Ratna Lachman, aged 60. She will be remembered for her humanity, morality and dedication to improving race relations across Yorkshire and the UK. Ratna will be dearly missed by her husband Neil Cooper, her children Rhiann and Kieron Mirchandani-Cooper, her sisters and the community for whom she worked tirelessly. The funeral service and cremation will be held at Rawdon Crematorium on Wednesday, August 2 at 3:00pm. No flowers please, but if desired donations may be made to Wheatfields Hospice who looked after Ratna with such care in her last days. A collection box will be available at the service.
