FORD John Michael Of your charity please pray for the repose of the soul of John, retired Headmaster of Greengates First School, who passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 22, 2016, at Herncliffe Care Home, aged 84 years. Much loved husband of Sheila, loving dad of Kathryn, John, Peter and the late Stephen, dear father-in-law of David, Jo and Kerry, devoted grandad of Julie, Rachel, Rebecca, Luke, Emily, Ellie, Amelia and Annabelle, proud grandad of 6 great-grandchildren and a loved brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle. John will be received into St. Anne's Catholic Church, Keighley, on Tuesday, August 30, at 6.00p.m. Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday, at 9.15a.m., followed by interment at Utley Cemetery. Family flowers only please but donations would be appreciated to Dementia UK. A box will be provided at the service for this purpose or may be made online at www.david-gallagher.co.uk.
