CLANCY Laurence Joseph Laurie, aged 85, died peacefully, in hospital following a stroke on October 16, 2014. He was the dearly loved husband of Jane Bingham a loving and proud father, step-father, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather and a special 'chops' to Joe. A former Dean of Engineering at Bradford University where he is still remembered. The funeral service will take place at Park Wood Crematorium, Elland, on Friday, October 24, at 3.00 p.m. and afterwards in Shibden Park. We want this occasion to celebrate Laurie's life and his many achievements. All friends, family and colleagues are invited to join us and dark clothing is not necessary.
