THORNTON Muriel (Robinson) (nee Gartland) On July 13, 2014, peacefully in hospital, Muriel, aged 89 years of Thornton. Loving mum of Nigel, dear grandma of Louise, Kate and Laura, much loved great-grandma of Evie and the dear sister of Margaret. The funeral service will be held at Thornton Methodist Church, on Thursday, July 24, at 11.30a.m., to be followed by cremation at Scholemoor Crematorium. Family flowers only please, but if desired donations would be appreciated if made to Yorkshire Cancer Research, a plate will be available at the service for this purpose.
