Yorkshire are on the verge of a LV= County Championship win over Northamptonshire at Wantage Road having taken three of the seven wickets they needed at the start of day four.

Northants fell from 66-3 to 119-6 off 46 overs at lunch in pursuit of 432.

Tim Bresnan, Jack Brooks and Liam Plunkett took a wicket apiece, with Rob Newton and Ben Duckett the not out batsmen.

Bresnan trapped Matt Spriegel lbw offering no shot with the first ball of the day after a 35-minute delay for rain.

Brooks then had Rob Keogh caught behind, before Plunkett had Andrew Hall caught at cover after an aborted pull shot.
