Bosses of The Broadway are in discussions with retailers about filling a unit left empty by the sudden closure of Jeff Bains.
The shoe store closed on Saturday, leaving an empty shop behind and no signs informing shoppers what was happening.
The company has made no comment about why it closed its Bradford branch.
Ian Ward, the general manager of The Broadway, confirmed the Birmingham-based chain would not be returning to Bradford and said talks were under way with replacement retailers.
"We can confirm that Jeff Bains has ceased trading at The Broadway.
"We are, however, in negotiations with a number of alternative retailers for this in-demand unit and expect to be bringing an exciting new retailer to the centre in the near future," he added.
Baked potato seller Spud U Like also shut at The Broadway June this year.
