A CAR was destroyed in an arson attack in Manningham early this morning.
A fire crew from Fairweather Green station was called to Alum Drive at 1.45am after calls that a car parked in the street was ablaze.
When they arrived they found the VW Passat engulfed by flames. A neighbour had been alerted to the fire when she heard a window of the car smashing.
Another quick thinking neighbour moved a vehicle parked next to the car to stop the flames from spreading.
The incident is being investigated as a suspected arson.
