A RAMBLE in and around Harden takes place on Saturday to raise funds for the Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice in Oxenhope.

Organisers say the event, now in its ninth year, provides an opportunity to remember loved ones who have benefited from the expert care the hospice provides.

There will be three different walks of varying lengths - five, ten, and 16 miles - with full route descriptions available on the day.

All routes start and finish at Harden Cricket Club, and walkers can start any time after 9am providing it is before 10am for long route, 12 noon for the middle route, and 2pm for the short route.

Entry to the walks is free but donations or sponsorship will be appreciated.

Dogs under control are welcome and drinks and light refreshments will be provided at the finish.

Carly Brunskill, regional fundraiser at Manorlands, said: “To date the event has raised £29,000 in aid of the hospice, and we really hope that lots of people, past and new supporters, come along and get involved."
