POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Keighley which seriously injured a 17-year-old girl pedestrian.

At about 2.10pm on Saturday, a silver Audi A5 was travelling along Bradford Road towards Keighley, when it was in collision with a 17-year-old girl at the traffic lights by Sainsbury's petrol station.

The girl suffered a serious leg injury and was taken to hospital.

The 29-year-old man who was driving the Audi was uninjured.

PC Cheryl Moore, from the Western Area Roads Policing Unit, said: "We would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision, or the movements of the Audi immediately prior to it."
