Electrical fault starts Shipley fire
AN ELECTRICAL fault sparked a fire which seriously damaged a double garage at a home in Shipley early this morning.
Shipley firefighters dealt with the 3am fire at a house in Moorhead Lane which destroyed the large garage door and was caused by an overheating halogen light.
"This is a good time of year to check all outside electrical wiring, fixtures and connections - faults cause fires," said Shipley Watch Commander Phil Brown.
