TWO robbers have carried out a daylight raid on a city centre clothes shop.

One of them went into the shop in Hustlergate and threatened a male member of staff yesterday afternoon.

The second man then entered the shop carrying what was believed to be a small metal bar and also made threats.

They then took a quantity of clothing before running out of the store and getting into a vehicle.

No-one was hurt in the incident, which took place shortly after 4pm.

One of the suspects was described as white, about 5ft 9ins tall, of medium build and spoke with a local accent.

He was wearing a hooded top, tracksuit bottoms with his face covered with a balaclava mask.

The other suspect is believed to be Asian or black, about 6ft 4ins tall and of medium build.

He was wearing a dark hooded top, a black balaclava mask and black gloves.

Detective Sergeant Rob Worley, of Bradford District CID, said: "We believe these men got into a red Ford Fiesta, which was seen driving off at speed."

Anyone with any further information is urged to call Detective Constable Oldham at Bradford District CID on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
