  • "The closet racists and some down right fascists are having a field day ranting about how bad religions are and how all Paedo's and groomers are using religion to abuse children etc....this is far from the truth and has been proven to be a false propaganda hijacked by the sad excuse we have for a mainstream media. Let me explain to the really dumb ones who are brainwashed : no religion encourages the followers to commit crimes in it's name...those who commit any crime from theft To child abuse to killing innocents are evil twisted persons who will encounter the wrath of God, be he the Muslim God, the Christian God, Jewish God or any God for that matter. Anyone who thinks that God has ordered people to hurt fellow persons is seriously deluded and stupid would be a pleasant way to describe these stupid tw@ts who come up with misquoted and out of context texts to show the world how stupid they really are. Live and let live, if you cannot do that then please die for the sake of humanity as your evil opinions are not worthy of debate or consideration....sav e it for the lunatic asylum or your local fascist inspired political party."

DOWNING Street today announced the appointment of two Area Bishops for Bradford and Huddersfield.

The Reverend Dr Toby Howarth, currently Secretary for Inter Religious Affairs to the Archbishop of Canterbury and National Inter Religious Affairs Adviser for the Church of England, will be the Bishop of Bradford.

The Reverend Dr Jonathan Gibbs, currently Rector of Heswall in the Diocese of Chester, will be the first ever Bishop of Huddersfield - one of five areas in the diocese, which each have their own bishop.

The Right Reverend Nick Baines, Bishop of West Yorkshire & the Dales, said: “Toby brings expertise in teaching, pastoral care, leadership and interfaith relations at parish, national and international level. This is an important appointment for the Church of England and for Bradford where he will serve as Area Bishop.

“Jonathan brings wide experience at parish, diocesan, national and international level.”

Both bishops will be consecrated at York Minster on October 17.
