THOUSANDS of homes in Bradford have been left without electricity this morning after a major power cut.
The cut, in the Holme Wood area, was caused by a failure in the network supplying the area, according to the Northern Power Grid. They expect power to be restored to the homes by 9.30am.
Shortly after 7am 2,200 homes were left without power. Work started to restore electricity and by 8.20am power had been restored to 1,300 homes.
