A MAN was rescued from a reservoir in Bradford in the middle of the night after a member of the public heard his cries for help.
Police and firefighters were called to Chellow Dene reservoir in Allerton at about 12.40am today.
The 37-year-old was in a shallow part of water at the bottom of a ten-foot drop, said a fire service spokesman, who added: "He was at the bottom of the wall in a squat position. He had been there a while and had been shouting for help."
Police said they didn't know why the man was in the water, or how he got there, but added that he was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary as a precaution.
