Arson attack on Land Rover in Saltaire
A BLUE Land Rover Defender 4x4 vehicle was set alight in a suspected arson attack on a track leading to a Saltaire sports club.
A fire crew from Shipley Fire Station attended the blaze on the track near Salts Sports Association at Victoria Road at 3.15am this morning.
No-one was injured or suffered smoke inhalation in the blaze.
Watch commander Jonny Earl, of Shipley Fire Station, said: "It was a deliberate ignition.
"The car was well alight when we got there. It took us about 45 minutes to put the fire out."
