MEMBERS of Yorkshire Classic Motorcycle Club revved up for action as they competed in the West Riding Trial race, starting at a Cullingworth pub.
A group of around 86 riders signed up to compete from across the country, including Kent and Tamworth in the West Midlands.
The field also included riders competing on motorbikes from as long ago as 1941.
It is the fourth round of this year’s Northern British Bike Championship. The race started at The Guide Inn pub, Cullingworth yesterday morning.
The current course is 30 miles long and contested over lanes and tracks linking some of the club’s best pieces of trials land in the area.
Located in the rugged, natural trials terrain of Yorkshire and Lancashire, the club cater for riders of all abilities on a wide range of bikes and strive to retain the spirit of the sport as it was in the 1950s and 60s.
