Time is running out to visit a special exhibition featuring work by members of a newly-established 'Young Masters' art school in Bradford.

The exhibition features work by children aged five to 14 who attend classes at the Idle Art Studio, which runs weekly classes at Thackley Methodist Church.

The artwork will be on display until Saturday at the Kala Sangam Arts Centre, next to Bradford Cathedral, and the free exhibition is open from 9.30am to 5.30pm today and tomorrow, and 9.30am to 12.30pm on Saturday.

Bradford mum-of-two Dr Virginija Knowles began teaching the art classes in March after she could not find an arts school in Bradford for her children to attend.

"The response to the exhibition has been wonderful," she said. "Nobody can believe the children have produced such wonderful work in just a few months, so it is well worth a visit."

The school is hoping to expand to cater for more children later this year, including setting up classes to run at Kala Sangam.
