Three Bradford City fans at the World Cup in Brazil have paid tribute to the 56 supporters who died in the Valley Parade fire.
Best friends Daniel Marcinczak, 25, of Shelf, Adam Burch, 23, of Odsal, and Nathan Broadbent, 24, of Tong, attended the quarter-final clash between Brazil and Colombia in Fortaleza last night and unfurled a large England flag with Bradford City and RIP 56 written on it.
Katie Marcinczak, Daniel's sister, said: "All three are big City fans and made a huge flag to take with them to the game. They have already taken it to Christ the Redeemer. They took it to the game to pay respect to those who died in the Bradford City fire.
"The fire brought tragedy to many families and the people of Bradford will be proud to know that even in a World Cup game we can remember those 56 people that died."
The trio arrived in Rio de Janeiro last Sunday and took the flag to the Christ the Redeemer statue while they were there, before making their way to Fortaleza on Thursday.
The Valley Parade fire happened on May 11, 1985.
