LOCAL historian Robert Goulding will talk about how the Great War impacted on the Brighouse area and its people at an event on Thursday, July 3. It will take place at Brighouse Library, Halifax Road, from 1.30pm to 3pm. Materials from the period will be on display and people are encouraged to bring their own objects to talk about too.
