BANKERS will take to two wheels in support of a hospice with a mini cycle tour ahead of the Grand Depart.
Four staff - including two on a tandem - from Handelsbanken, based in Hope Park, Bradford, are supporting the Marie Curie Hospice on Thursday by riding across the district visiting customers.
Branch manager Andy Lowther said: "We've been in Bradford six years now and have some fantastic business and personal customers, who have been very generous in their support for Marie Curie. We'll be on the road on Thursday, just two days ahead of the real Tour, so give us a shout if you see us."
Mr Lowther is a member of the Marie Curie Development Board in Bradford which aims to provide an important link between the Hospice and the local business community.
Marie Curie is the official charity partner of the Grand Départ, the first three stages of the Tour de France and aims to raise £1 million nationally from the link-up.
